1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the MockInterview service, website, and any applications (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
MockInterview provides AI-powered interview practice, resume analysis, and related services designed to help users prepare for job interviews. The Service may include features such as mock interviews, feedback on answers, resume analysis, and recording capabilities.
3. User Accounts
Some features of the Service require you to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information, including your password, and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
4. User Content
The Service allows you to submit content such as resume text, interview answers, and other information ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content, but by submitting it to the Service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, process, adapt, and publish the User Content for the purpose of providing and improving the Service.
You represent and warrant that your User Content does not violate any third-party rights, including copyright, trademark, privacy, or other personal or proprietary rights, and that your User Content does not contain any material that is harmful, fraudulent, or otherwise objectionable.
5. Subscriptions and Payments
Some aspects of the Service may be available on a subscription basis. By subscribing to a paid tier, you agree to pay the applicable fees. Subscription fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable except as required by law or as explicitly stated in our Refund Policy.
You may cancel your subscription at any time, but no refunds will be provided for any unused portion of a subscription period. After cancellation, your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
6. Usage Limits
Each tier of service (Visitor, Registered, Premium) is subject to specific usage limits as described on our Pricing page. We reserve the right to enforce these limits and may restrict access to certain features when limits are exceeded.
7. Prohibited Activities
You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:
- Using the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to the Service or related systems
- Interfering with or disrupting the integrity or performance of the Service
- Attempting to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the system
- Impersonating another person or entity
- Collecting or harvesting user data without permission
- Using the Service in a manner that could disable, overburden, or impair it
8. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by MockInterview and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, republish, or distribute any portion of the Service without prior written consent.
9. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall MockInterview, its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.
10. Disclaimer
The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. We make no warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or effectiveness of the Service for your specific career needs.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the company operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
